Clinical Outcome Specialist- Sacramento, CA

•Provide proper training and ensure clinical competence for all ORA customers.

  • Provide in-service training as well as clinical, technical application, and educational support in the field.
  • Support physicians regionally in the field and act as the primary feedback loop between physicians, COS team, and management team.
  • Review clinical outcomes reports with the surgeons.
  • Provides training for physicians and staff on the use of the ORA System Platform.
  • Supports Clinical efforts at customer site(s) via Clinical Support and Monitoring on surgery days, reviewing post-ops and patient follow-up, and supports clinical data collection for completion and compliance with GCP.
  • Provides 1st line medical and clinical outcomes phone, e-mail, and on-site support for the ORA System Platform in the Domestic marketplace.
  • Acts as a clinical outcomes trainer by mentoring, coaching, and assisting new employees.
  • Assists in recruiting, interviewing, and performance development, as well as on-the-job training (OJT) of clinical outcomes personnel within the Domestic, and possibly, International region.
  • Supports the development of individual training plans to support the on-going development of new Clinical Outcomes Specialists.
  • Observes, monitors, and reports clinical trends by keeping current with clinical results for assigned sites.
  • Monitors assigned surgeons’ lens usage so that optimization can be done in a timely fashion.
  • Attends and supports trade shows, fellowships, conferences, exhibits, seminars, and wet-labs as requested.
