Calibration Maintenance Tech
Plan and perform work to calibrate, troubleshoot, and/or repair a variety of Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE), using knowledge of mathematics, mechanical and physical properties, electronic theory and electronic M&TE. These duties require judging the quality and operation of M&TE and include recommending (a) procurement of calibration standards and ancillary equipment, (b) calibration periods, (c) calibration techniques and (d) disposal of outdated equipment.
. Calibrate M&TE in order to ensure compliance with published specifications.
. Maintain primary and secondary calibration standards.
. Collect, compile, measure, summarize, and record data gathered during calibration.
. Analyze measurement data for identifying abnormalities, trends, and/or predicting future values.
. Identify M&TE out of tolerance conditions and perform corrective action via adjustments, component replacement, correction factors, etc.
. Identify and correct measurement errors, as applicable.
. Prepare calibration reports and certificates.
. Ability to write and implement SOP's and PM procedures.
. Ability to handle increasingly complex assignments.
. Recommend M&TE for use in measurement applications.
. Adapt existing calibration equipment, standards, and techniques to accomplish unique measurements tasks for which they are not principally used.
. Train subordinates in calibration concepts and procedures.
. Perform laboratory housekeeping.
. Provide technical advice to other departments of the organization.
. Regular and punctual attendance.
. Demonstrate good customer relations skills

• On-Time monthly calibration completion percentage
• Rework percentage
• Overtime worked against plan
•Internal/External Audit Results
• Manufacturing Non-Conformances

Minimum requirements High School / GED. Trade school or formal technical training. Desired: Technical school or military (PMEL) training.
Minimum 3 years experience. Prefer: 5 - 7 years total industrial experience in specified skill area. Exposure to highly automated/technical equipment. Desired: 5 - 7 years specific pharmaceutical experience. ASQ Certified Calibration Technician
