1st shift Inventory Analyst

On a daily basis review inventory records for errors, investigate causes, initiate corrections and follow up on corrective actions to ensure interdepartmental compliance. On a daily basis review completed work orders for inventory issues outside of defined tolerances, investigate causes, initiate corrections and follow up on corrective actions to ensure interdepartmental compliance. On a daily basis monitor finished goods sweep transactions to other facilities and distribution centers for errors, investigate causes and initiate corrections. On a weekly basis monitor global APD finished goods inventory and in-transit locations for discrepancies. Analyze APD raw material and component inventory levels for proposing targets, optimization and improved flow. Suggest solutions and assist with implementation of same. Maintain APD Key Performance Indicator reports. Be a principle member of the annual Physical Inventory team. Occupational Demand Requirements: Position may require standing, walking, kneeling, twisting, writing, talking, sitting, bending, climbing ladders/steps, handling, turning, stooping, balancing, carrying, grasping, use both feet, use both hands, reading, problem solving, verbal communication, reasoning, negotiating, written communications, customer contact/general public, math calculations, deadlines under pressure, learning/retaining technical information, exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, or 10 lbs. frequently to move objects. Working conditions position may be exposed to include: equipment/mechanical/electrical hazards.

Inventory Analyst position is designed to be critical to NFCM compliance as well as Global Inventory analysis and local analysis, reporting and trending of said activities. Candidate will be responsible for training Warehouse Clerks and Manufacturing Leads on proper methods to perform appropriate inventory transactions. Generate monthly NFCM reports and graphs. Provide analysis and identifies trends which need further investigation for improvement. participates in monthly closing process to insure a clean receiving cut-off. Candidate will be responsible for all aspects of "Return to Supplier" activity and maintaining auditable records of same. Runs daily Receiving and Stocking reports. Assists Planner / Buyers with "rcpts exp" shelf items. Will serve as a Back-up to Shipping Coordinator as required. Minimum requirements High School Diploma English 8 years relevant experience

Preferred:BS in Business or related field, APICS certification a plus. 5 or more years progressive experience in inventory management. Preferably in manufacturing environment. Strong Computer, Excel and Query skills.
