University Recruiting at Airbnb

We're looking for a University Recruiter to join our University Recruiting team at Airbnb. Learn more about our programs at This will be a 12 month contract position.


  • Manage full-cycle recruiting process for new graduates and interns across engineering teams
  • Source interns and new graduates, identifying and activating top students
  • Ensure a smooth, quick, and consistent candidate experience
  • Drive offer process - including extending offers, closing candidates, and generating offer letters
  • Facilitate hiring discussions with interviewers and hiring managers
  • Monitor intern and new grad headcount across assigned teams
  • Act as a resource to interns throughout their internship, including on-boarding, performance evaluation, and offer process
  • Occasionally assist with on-campus recruiting events: tech talks, hackathons, on-campus interviews, etc.
  • Partner with Campus Specialist partner to continue leveraging academic relations in order to build a robust university talent pipeline and ensure an incredible candidate experience


  • Solid experience closing competitive candidates with multiple offers
  • BA/BS degree with a minimum of 1-2 seasons of University Recruiting experience
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting (technical roles preferred)
  • Creative and enjoys working on challenges and thinking outside the box
  • Patient, communicative, and must possess the ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers, interviewers, and team members throughout hiring process
  • Passionate about and curious to learn more about software technologies
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Patient, communicative, and must possess the ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, experience working on projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Passionate about candidate experience: we see our candidates as our guests, and we are their hosts. It’s the Closer’s job to ensure a smooth experience from beginning to end in partnership with peers
  • Passionate about interns and our intern program: we see our interns as not just guests, but family, and we are their long term hosts. It’s our team’s job/responsibility to drive a transformational 12-16 weeks

Preferred Requirements:

  • Notable experience working in university recruiting or university programs
  • Flexible and can deal effectively with changes in priorities or ambiguity
  • Proficiency in MS Office/Google products
