Manager, Florida, Professional Host Supply

As a member of Airbnb Americas Supply Sales, you will be working within an assigned geographic region and acting as a player/coach for a small team of Account Managers and Account Representatives.  You will be responsible for setting up your regional team strategies, meeting and exceeding regional quarterly sales targets, and will be mentoring, motivating and developing your team members. You will be reporting to the Manager, East.

Responsibilities:

  • Player/Coach for an assigned team of Account Managers and Account Representatives whose mission is to ensure that Property Management Companies on Airbnb in assigned markets are setup for success
  • Motivate, coach and guide a diverse and geographically distributed team
  • You will be expected to be an expert on your geographic region and set up clear goals and regional KPIs for your teammates, and be responsible for the team to meet and exceed regional quarterly/annual sales targets
  • You will lead by example by  managing the top 10-20 accounts in your geographyIdentify growth opportunities in your market, share and promote best practices
  • Guide your team towards successful execution of the Property Management strategy you will be developing while motivating and empowering them to hit or surpass their individual sales targets
  • Create, foster, and nurture a positive environment for your team while boosting team productivity and efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal teams (policy, product, marketing, etc..) to best represent the opportunities in your assigned geo and develop cross functional collaboration
  • Be the go-to expert , internally and externally, for your assigned geographic territory
  • Build Airbnb’s brand with industry influencers by representing Airbnb at industry events in your market, in external meetings with Professional Hosts and organizations, and at internal collaborations
  • Travel 50%+ to meet customers in market

Qualifications

  • 9-10 years of professional experience, of which at least 2 should be in a sales role with experience in coaching, developing or mentoring
  • 3+ years of hospitality/travel industry experience preferred
  • Proven track record of successfully executing sales strategies, meeting and exceeding goals in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to influence internal and external decision makers and drive results
  • Proven track record in building enduring and successful client relationships
  • Effectively manage team performance and deploy the team and resources to achieve and exceed targets
  • Proficient with CRM tools (preferably Salesforce) and other project management tools
  • Proficient quantitative skills and proven ability to interpret and apply data throughout your day-to-day work
  • Passion for Airbnb, travel, and the sharing economy - being an Airbnb host is a plus
