Ingénieur en sécurité des applications / Application Security Engineer

Application Security Engineer:

Airbnb is based on trust. Our security team is working hard to improve the security of our platform, enabling millions of users to explore the world.

We are looking for people who want to help make the Airbnb platform safer for its millions of users around the world. If you are a talented and passionate person looking for security vulnerabilities and designing scalable and actionable solutions, we'd love to talk to you. We are facilitators and simplify the work of engineers when they create security features. If you are enthusiastic about this mission, we are looking for different types of profiles / skills.

What is an Airbnb application security post?

  • Create tools or systems that engineers will (like) use and improve safety.
  • Work to identify areas of security vulnerabilities. These can be manual intrusion tests or larger scale projects to automate the search for vulnerabilities.
  • Improve data security by using encryption / key management, separation and other techniques.
  • Find solutions to improve defense in depth.
  • Help engineers think of safer systems (design data, code audits).

The following profile interests us:

  • A good understanding of the security of web or mobile applications
  • Experience working in an internal application security team
  • Experience as a developer, ideally with Ruby on Rails and Java
  • Experience of intrusion tests
  • Good communication skills. Have you been very patient in explaining to your family and friends how to use Chrome and activate the "Click to activate" feature? Cool me too.
