We are seeking an ambitious, bright, forward-thinking, entrepreneurial and high-spirited candidate to join our team in Miami. The Business Operations & Strategy Lead will report to LatAm Regional Director and will support Airbnb’s LatAm business operations  (LatAm regional director, regional managers and country managers) and will be a POC for functions within LatAm.   

Key Areas of Responsibility:

    • Drive weekly, monthly and quarterly business operation meetings across the LatAm Leadership Team
    • Build presentations for quarterly reporting and planning
    • Work with FP&A to develop consistent reporting dashboards - weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
    • Assess business performance and perform regular deep-dives into areas of strength and weakness
    • Support Country Managers by enabling them to provide consistent information to their cross functional teams
    • Own OKR management and determine roadblocks for LatAm Leadership team
    • Support LatAm  leadership team in quarterly and annual planning and budgeting processes
    • Conduct operational Deep dives into countries or functional topics as needed
    • In partnership with Marketing, FP&A and Regions/GMs, support marketing budget allocation
    • Work with Local Leadership  to evolve & scale partnership strategy and supply acquisition strategy
    • Develop best practices on different partnerships types; work with local teams to optimize performance of partnerships
    • Streamline supply acquisition efforts across LatAm
    • Work with FP&A to assess ROI on Local Partnerships and supply campaigns
    • Regularly check how the market dynamics and the evolvement of our community and product affect our SWAT and positioning
    • Develop and anticipate the competitive landscape
    • Forecast expected market and internal KPIs and trends
    • Own, design, and perform detailed analyses that will help us better understand our acquisition methods
    • Oversee Special Projects as Assigned by LatAm Regional Director (Analyses into new markets, Analyses into marketing and partnerships, etc.)


  • Minimum 7+ years experience in consulting or business with strong analytical and business backgrounds
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is mandatory
  • Strong strategic conceptual skills; ability to identify and articulate priorities
  • Proven project management background handling multiple projects at a time; ideally tied to operational responsibility (business KPI)
  • Strong analytical, logical skills and experience making data-driven recommendations and decisions
  • Deep experience combining data-driven analytical rigor with strategic thinking
  • Ability to work proactively and be results-driven
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, graphing and general advanced functions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and to navigate from strategic thinking to ad-hoc daily data demands
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills; able to articulate a vision, strategy or idea clearly and concisely
  • Proven ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels. Comfortable on diving into detail and executing work as needed
  • Previous experience driving operational progress by enabling the team to (over) deliver on targets, meeting milestones, removing obstacles, mitigate potential misses, strengthening individuals and make the team join forces
  • Highly reliable milestone management

  • Work permission to work based in US/Miami

Ideal Candidates will have

  • Knowledge in Business Intelligence
  • Experience with languages used for querying (e.g. SQL, Hive)
  • Being a host on Airbnb is a plus
