API Service Specialist

Please note this is a 6month contract

About the position

The Partner Integration Team at Airbnb is supporting API partners on a technical level. The team develops and maintains high performance and highly available server solutions using the .Net framework. As an API Engineer on the Partner Integration Team you will always be on the edge of newest Airbnb API development and future plans. You will implement solutions to maintain high availability connections between our partners and Airbnb.

The following experience is relevant to us

  • 2+ years of full-time, industry experience
  • Extensive skills with C# and - .Net (>= 4.5 years)
  • Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL)
  • AWS knowledge will be beneficial
  • Strong skills to maintain a stable server environment
  • The knack for writing, clean, readable, maintainable code
  • Love to use and develop .Net
  • An eye for automation and instrumentation
  • Great communication skills
  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field (ideal)
