Strategic Marketing Manager, Pricing

This position is based in Bangkok.

The Strategic Marketing Manager will have end-to-end responsibility for identifying, designing, and executing strategic pricing campaigns across Agoda globally. The position reports directly to the Head of Strategic Pricing and leads campaigns that touch every part of the customer experience by working closely with market development, supply-side operations, and product management.

This role will have the challenge of thinking up new innovations and ideas for growth, as well as running experiments and executing campaigns across channels and tactics. Campaigns are expected to be more technical and require a solid understanding of how pricing tactics work. The Strategic Marketing Manager would also be responsible to monitor performance post-implementation for identifying best practices and areas of risk or concern.

This position will have visibility over all aspects of Strategic Pricing (across all verticals and all markets) as well as working relationships with other Marketing departments. It offers high visibility with senior management and with other departments within the company.

Responsibilities

Identify and propose new ideas, test, and experiments to optimize current promotional mix
Drive growth and profitability for Agoda thru campaigns
Coordination of the strategic direction, including best practices, user labs, business requirements, KPIs, lead prioritization, operational service levels, and account optimization with relevant stakeholders
Work internally across all of Strategic Pricing and externally with other departments in Agoda to
ensure seamless implementation of projects
Continuously analyze and monitor market and overall Strategic Pricing performance, trends and
the competition to formulate actionable insights and understand business drivers

Desired Qualifications

Excellent people skills, able to establish relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in business, marketing or other relevant fields
Five years’ experience in management consulting, digital strategy or marketing
High level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL
Able to work independently, and manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously
Strong analytical skills and a curious mind to continuously seek answers
Excellent storyteller who expresses facts and ideas in a clear, convincing and organized manner
