The Performance Marketing Team of Agoda is a world leader in online marketing. This department is highly data-driven and focused on developing at-scale marketing programs that improve the lifetime value of Agoda customers through measurable marketing programs and channels. The team is a blend of the best analysts, marketing strategists, and data scientists in the world. The marketing leadership at Agoda have deep experience in data science, product, strategy, and other marketing fields and have built an organization that thrives on data, creative ideas, and technology. The Performance Marketing Team also fosters a great learning environment. You will be able to learn and grow by working closely with experts from a variety of backgrounds from all over the world. 

The Opportunity:

You will own merchandising strategy and operations for all Agoda’s global promotional campaigns and shape the product roadmap for merchandising features of partner platform. You will gain deep understanding of the Online Travel landscape and operations of a cutting-edge tech company and will work closely with product, marketing and sales teams. Because of the significant impact that these marketing campaigns have on our overall business, you will have regular interaction with the senior management team, including our CMO, COO, and CEO.

In this Role, you'll get to: 

  • Lead and Innovate: You will lead a team of 2, managing a new and exciting business line that is dedicated to localize Agoda’s merchandising strategy in strategic markets 
  • Scale: grow local campaigns’ impact through working with and influencing cross-functional stakeholders including product, marketing, sales, etc.  
  • Test and Analyze: identify new opportunities through analyzing campaign performance, experimenting and benchmarking to competitors  
  • Work with independence and ownership: you will get goals and projects, not tasks 
  • Be a coach: your contribution scales when you teach others 
  • Challenge anything: data matters, not opinions, seniority, or common knowledge 

What you'll Need to Succeed:

  • 5+ years of digital marketing, e-commerce, or strategy/business operations experience

  • Able to communicate fluently in English

  • Intellectually curious, hands-on and results-driven with a strong owner’s mindset

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to directly perform data analysis to craft tactical operational recommendations

  • Teamwork and trust, including excellent interpersonal skills, comfort with proactive communications managing different stakeholders, and willingness to engage with conflicting opinions

It's Great if you have:

  • Mandarin Language Skills
  • Strong understanding of OTA business
  • Familiarity with SQL
