Commercial Operations Manager - Key Accounts

As ‘Commercial Operations Manager’, you will be responsible for the ‘health metrics’ of our Key Accounts in APAC & EMEA. You will work within Key Accounts to ensure every Key Account Manager has compete visibility into the operational & connectivity ‘health’ of their accounts. You are likely to be already working within an Online Travel Agent in an operational support, technical or data driven role. As an area of the business undergoing significant change, you must thrive in a fluid & evolving environment, be an engaging and approachable person who thrives in a team environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the baseline requirements for Hotel Chain performance & present reports / data in a manner that enables our Key Account Managers to drive change
  • Collate, analyze & interpret multiple data sources to drive change in multiple business areas, namely; product development, commercial modelling, connectivity & technology
  • Work alongside the Global Key Accounts Director & multiple other senior stakeholders to produce scalable solutions, create efficiencies and develop best practices across the broader Agoda Hotels Team
  • Build out a real-time alerts / monitoring platform for Hotel Chain ‘health metrics’
  • Interact with Hotel Chains at corporate / hotel level and articulate both benefits & requirements of operational and technical changes
  • Recruitment, training & team development

 

Qualifications / Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience working within an e-commerce or multi-national business
  • 2+ years’ experience working within travel / tourism
  • Working proficiency in XML, SQL & data modelling
  • Current travel technology experience, hotel systems preferred (CRS, PMS, GDS, CM)
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English (written & spoken)
