Summary:

Our client, a well-known Arts institution in Atlanta, has an immediate need for an IT, Infrastructure Manager. This person will manage an internal team of dedicated network and systems engineers who are responsible for day-to-day operational support, maintenance, upgrades, and deployments to the organization' s Technology Infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring network performance and recommending improvements
  • Planning and directing tasks, with projects including:
  • Cable Management Cleanup
  • Disaster and Recovery Planning (include product selection - Veeam is currently the backup product in use)
  • QoS and Re-IP Campus LAN
  • Network Migration (Cisco ASA and Cisco Nexus 9K / Cisco 4510) - Using external vendor that needs management
  • File Server Migration/Consolidate to DFS Server
  • Preparing work effort estimates/schedules and task itemization
  • Management of network designs, installations, implementation of standards, and conversion and migration methodologies to enhance network technologies
  • Resolving complex problems that impact system availability

Qualifications:

  • Multiple years of enterprise-level data center experience
  • Solid understanding of server, storage, network, and database technologies, including:
  • Cisco Networking (Sr. CCNA or Jr. CCNP)
  • Familiarity with VMWare
  • Expert in Windows (MCSE or equivalent) - GPOs, DFS, AD replication, DNS
  • Heavy diagramming and documentation experience (servers and networking)
  • Expert Active Directory knowledge
  • Deep understanding of routing protocols, including OSPF, BGP, and EIGR)
