New Hires:

  • Creates and maintains all onboarding paperwork
  • Coordinates drug/background screening
  • Conducts new hire orientation
  • Updates applicant tracking database, as well as time and attendance systems, when needed
  • Work with the new person to collect accurate onboarding documents that enable new hires to begin employment timely
  • Educate department leaders about the requirements and legal standards related to onboarding documentation and processes
  • Guide new hires through the onboarding process and assist them in matters such as: paperwork collection, benefits enrollment, orientation, timecard submission, etc.
  • Make sure all new hires feel welcomed and well-informed
  • Updates all internal/external databases and payroll systems with new hire information

Employee Relations:

  • Build relationships with individuals across all departments
  • Serve as an extension for the sales team by building relationships with W2 and 1099 consultants
  • Visit W2 and 1099 consultants at client sites to foster strong business connections
  • Handle and resolve individual issues in a timely manner
  • Remind W2 and 1099 consultants of timecard requirements

Operational Support:

  • Provide assistance to sales team with customer resources planning
  • Coordinate handoff with sales/recruiting
  • Champion for the referral program with W2 consultants
  • Work with Marketing to communicate lead programs with W2 consultants and clients


  • Create innovative procedures to boost engagement among our existing team members and new hires
  • Respond to and resolve employee concerns in a timely manner
  • Package W2 consultants to re-market at end of assignment
  • Research potential new opportunities and work with sales to submit
  • Handles employee exit interviews
  • Plan/execute events for W2 consultants quarterly
  • Handle all W2 consultant reviews/negotiate increases/performance issues
  • Handle all income adjustments and renewals


  • Prepare/maintain new hire orientation
  • Conduct any/all support duties that may arise including job postings, reference checks, setting up interviews, etc.
  • Process benefit enrollments
  • File for State Tax IDs, as needed
  • Complete employment verifications
  • Process unemployment claims
  • Runs reports, as needed
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local regulations concerning employment
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned


  • Must have outstanding communication and organizational skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, especially under time constraints
  • Ability to easily prioritize competing priorities
  • Possess sensitivity skills to deal with confidential data and information
  • Proficient knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint a must; Knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains and ADP Workforce Now, preferred
  • Previous experience in Human Resources preferred
  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related field
