Technical Recruiter, University

We are seeking a University Recruiter to lead and own hiring for all New Grads and Interns across our Engineering Team. This is a highly dynamic role that requires an individual who can quickly jump from their creative to analytical brain while maintaining poise and accountability. As the first impression of our company to students across the country, you'll need to be able to relay a compelling picture of our company, vision, culture, and be fearless in pursuing great candidates. Most importantly, this individual must be able to jive with students and understand what they’re truly seeking in a job.

What You'll Do

  • Lead all University hiring for Affirm as the sole University Recruiter
  • Constantly build pipeline: source, assess, and close high caliber students for our Engineering team
  • Expand your network through building relationships with University candidates at campuses across the country
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop and improve strategies for effectively and efficiently evaluating University talent
  • Partner with our Talent Programs Team and our Diversity & Inclusion council to identify opportunities for developing a diverse pipeline of candidates and hiring them
  • Support ad hoc projects as needed and be willing to do whatever it takes at a moment’s notice to capitalize on an opportunity; the market moves quickly and so should you
  • Comfortable traveling throughout the year, particularly during the peak Fall University season

What We Look For

  • 2+ years of full lifecycle Technical Recruiting experience, ideally in a University-focused role
  • Proven track record of success in maintaining high volume, complex candidate pipelines
  • Excellent at driving processes forward despite any obstacles
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent representative of the company - professional, articulate, knowledgeable and intelligent
  • A fun and collaborative teammate who pitches in wherever necessary
  • Experience at a fast growing startup is a plus
