Senior Business Analyst: Consumer Strategy

The Consumer team is building out new products and business lines that improves financial health for Affirm’s customers.  As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll help define and scale growth initiatives using analytical rigor, business acumen, and a drive for impact.  We’re looking for strategic thinkers who want to get their hands dirty and help grow new initiatives from the ground up.    

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and operationalize strategy for direct-to-consumer products that improve financial health
  • Build business cases and lead quantitative analysis to inform business strategy, product decisions, and go-to-market approach
  • Assess new growth opportunities and deliver actionable recommendations
  • Drive execution by launching and leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Help test growth hypotheses through pilots and experimentation

What We Look For

  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, consulting, business development, or a strategic operations role (“Pre-MBA” candidates welcome)
  • Strong interest in financial technology, consumer lending, or e-commerce
  • Demonstrated ability to think analytically and strategically in order to ramp up quickly on new industries and verticals
  • Collaborative and outgoing team player excited to work cross-functionally and build relationships
  • Proactive leader that can seek out new opportunities, drive projects, navigate ambiguity, and develop creative solutions with minimal guidance
  • Able to deliver quantitative rigor and fact-based insights from internal and external data and financials
