Risk Operations Trainer

As a company that underwrites and services loans, we understand that fraud prevention and exceptions handling are crucial to our business. The Risk Operations Trainer will ensure that the Risk Operations team is fully equipped to assess complex cases in an effort to detect and prevent fraud and financial crimes.


  • Design training curriculum and continuous improvement program to successfully onboard and develop Risk Operations teammates who use various monitoring systems, tools and reports to execute counter measures to identify questionable transaction patterns that may indicate common fraud scenarios
  • Facilitate onboarding and ongoing training to enable the team’s ability to meet their goals
  • Establish quality assurance program to catch and correct wrong behaviors and/or identify product, process or policy enhancements
  • Create and maintain knowledge base and learning resources 
  • Manage the delivery of product, process and policy changes by reviewing product specs, analyzing existing processes, collaborating with key stakeholders and documenting procedures


  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Previous change management and/or training experience
  • Understanding of training principles, tools and best practices
  • Passion and drive to change consumer banking for the better
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate and be sensitive of others
  • Excellent listening and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proactive thinking, constantly seeking improvement opportunities in work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including training content development and presentations
  • Willingness to travel
