Affirm is looking for an outstanding Organic Growth Marketing Manager to join our Growth & Integrated Marketing team, focused on SEO. In this role, you’ll help define our organic growth strategy, building out and executing on roadmaps to scale our organic search traffic and drive awareness and conversions for both our consumer and merchant audiences. The ideal candidate will understand both B2C and B2B business requirements and be constantly iterating and exploring new ways to drive organic growth.  

This role is highly collaborative. You will work across marketing, product, engineering, creative, and analytics partners to translate business needs into innovative strategies and campaigns that perform. We’re looking for someone who is not afraid of putting structure to vague problems and rolling up their sleeves to figure out solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Help define the organic growth vision, strategy, and reporting cadence for our website
  • Own our SEO roadmap and execute strategies and tactics that drive high-intent organic B2B and B2C visitors
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evolve Affirm.com into a true shopping and discovery platform for consumers while also making it an educational and persuasive place for businesses to learn more about the benefits of partnering with Affirm
  • Improve our overall site health and performance in collaboration with technical partners 
  • Work closely with Analytics to monitor traffic and performance and identify actionable insights to grow our organic presence and improve user experience and conversion
  • Be the internal SEO evangelist, working across the company to ensure that SEO is operationalized across the whole business

What we look for

  • 7+ years of experience driving strategy and execution of impactful organic search initiatives 
  • Strong track record of leading successful projects across in-house or agency roles working on a site with a high proportion of traffic coming from organic search
  • Deep expertise across the three pillars of SEO (on-page, off-page, technical) and experience across B2C, B2B, and B2B2C audiences
  • Proactive, organized, curious, entrepreneurial problem solver with a “can-do” attitude and a testing-and-learning mentality  
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communications skills, with the ability to contextualize SEO strategy within broader business goals 
  • Experience with SEO, web analytics, and optimization tools, such as Google Search Console, SEMRush, DeepCrawl, Optimizely, Looker, and Hotjar. 
  • Ability to be both strategic and have strong attention-to-detail 
  • Strong organization, project management, and time management skills, with the ability to react to shifting priorities
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization, including running a/b tests
  • Experience with international SEO is ideal
  • Background in the finance, mobile apps, ecommerce, or payments industries is a plus
