Facilities Coordinator

We’re looking for Facilities Coordinator to join the Places team!  The Places team handles Affirm’s facilities, which includes managing the office, greeting guests, running our food program, caring for our employees, managing our employee swag/book program, office tidiness, company events and more.  We’re a team oriented group with a can-do attitude and are always ready to step in and help out when needed. 

As the Facilities Coordinator, you will be responsible for keeping the office running smoothly and looking tidy.  A large portion of your job will be managing our seating plan that grows more complicated daily. Our ideal candidate has the ability to problem solve office challenges in a way that works for the whole company.

What you'll do

  • Set up new employees desks
  • Audit and organize desk cables
  • Monitor the office for damaged equipment
  • Educate employees about office policies and procedures
  • Manage our team ticketing system and respond to employee office requests
  • Monitor office cleanliness and flag when it’s time for a deep clean
  • Identify and fix office issues
  • Help with event setup and takedown
  • Install and setup equipment as needed

What we look for

  • Relevant experience in office coordination or facilities a plus
  • Strong work ethic (reliable and dependable)
  • Detail oriented with great time management skills
  • Empathy for fellow employees
  • Ability to identify underlying issue (not just opt for the quick fix)
  • Familiarity with tools for office issues
  • A team oriented attitude
  • Strong communication skills across various teams
