Director, Integrations Engineering

Affirm is committed to building lasting partnerships with retail merchants and developing technical and organizational infrastructure that will allow us to scale rapidly. The Director of Integrations Engineering will build, lead, mentor, and grow the Partner Engineering team which includes merchant pre-sales, post-sales, integrations, and support. As the team’s lead you will also be responsible for working with your peers in Engineering, Sales, Product, and Finance to develop products and processes that ensure a seamless experience for our partner merchants from initial discussions, to successful integration of our product, to expansion into new product offerings.

Given Affirm’s fast growth, the technical nature of our product offerings, and the importance of our Merchant relationships, the role reports to the CTO, and works regularly with other members of the exec team.

  • Lead the development of cross functional departmental processes
  • Participate at the executive level in strategic sales and partner engagements

ABOUT AFFIRM
At Affirm we are using technology to re-imagine and re-build core parts of financial infrastructure to enable friendlier and more transparent financial products and services that improve lives.

We believe the financial industry is fundamentally broken. Not only is the core infrastructure built with technology from the 1970s, but there are a dwindling number of people who say "I trust my bank to look out for me". It doesn’t have to be this way, and it’s our mission to fix this problem.

We are based in San Francisco; founded by Max Levchin (founding CTO of PayPal), Jeff Kaditz (CDO DeNA/ngmoco), and Nathan Gettings (founding CTO of Palantir); and building a team of exceptionally talented people to join us on our mission.
