Responsibilities

The Project Engineer: Future and International Programs will provide international program management and technical advice to the industry, interagency, and international programs.

This position can be filled as a Level 2: Project Engineer or as a Level 3: Sr. Project Engineer.

Key Funtions:

  • Implementation of the technical aspects of the AEHF, WGS, and other MILSATCOM international agreements
  • Exploration and negotiation of future partnerships across mission areas
  • Analysis of future space system architectures
  • Program management, systems engineering, architecture and roadmap analysis, and the development of collaboration and partnership efforts across space mission areas


Qualifications

Required Qualifications for Level 2: Project Engineer
  • BS in engineering, or related fields such as mathematics, or computer sciences
  • 8 or more years of experience that includes DoD space acquisition processes and policies
  • Experience in international, interagency, or industry space programs or projects
  • Experience with armaments cooperation including ITAR, the Arms Export Control Act and/or Foreign Military Sales
  • Experience in space systems design, capabilities, challenges, and/or contracts
  • DoD SECRET


Required Qualifications for Level 3: Sr. Project Engineer
  • BS in engineering, or related fields such as mathematics, or computer sciences
  • 12 or more years of experience that includes DoD space acquisition processes and policies
  • Experience in international, interagency, or industry space programs or projects
  • Experience with armaments cooperation including ITAR, the Arms Export Control Act and/or Foreign Military Sales
  • Experience in space systems design, capabilities, challenges, and/or contracts
  • DoD SECRET


Preferred
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Ability to obtain TS/SCI
  • Ability to accommodate international and domestic travel
