Responsibilities

Responsible for activities related to the administration of Information Security applications for Identity and Access Management (IAM) services at Aerospace. Primary duties are to keep all IAM enterprise applications operational and return systems to operational status in the event of an anomaly. Responsible for application planning and maintenance as well as customer support. Responsible for developing new IAM solutions to address customer requirements.

Key Functions
  • Responsible for activities related to the administration of Information Technology (IT) applications for Identity and Access Management (IAM) services at Aerospace. Primary duties are to keep all IAM enterprise applications operational and return systems to operational status in the event of an anomaly. Responsible for application planning and maintenance as well as customer support. Responsible for developing new IAM solutions to address customer requirements.
  • Works with business process owners and subject-matter experts to elicit requirements for new IAM solutions. Documents and evaluates alternative development approaches and techniques.
  • Designs and implements solutions using a combination of coding, scripting, integration, and platform customization.
  • Participates in the execution of software development lifecycle processes (deployment, testing, debugging, maintenance) in use in the development organization, and helps to align them with lifecycle processes used in other, more traditional codebased development environments.
  • Collaborates with developers, users, and outside stakeholders to build solutions in a team environment.
  • Monitors IAM systems for performance and reliability. 
  • Installs application enhancements and upgrades that will improve the reliability, performance and capabilities of the application.
  • Performs troubleshooting and resolves system issues.  Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.
  • Maintains IAM system data, such as personnel information and electronic certificate information.
  • Assists users with the use of the IAM systems. Provides Tier 3 Service Desk support to troubleshoot user issues providing excellent customer service through timely and frequent communications and interactions with users.
  • Responsible for training end users on the use of IAM applications.


Qualifications

Required for Level II:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 3 or more years of relevant experience, or 2 or more years of experience with a Master's Degree, or a PhD.
  • Experience with employee directory and personnel information repositories such as Active Directory or LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol).
  • Experience with IAM (Identify Access Management) processes such as account provisioning, role provisioning, and IAM application administration.
  • Programming experience, such as scripting, PowerShell, or experience coding with a common programming language.
  • Able to qualify for and maintain Secret security clearance in compliance with company contract stipulations and policy.


Required for Level III
  • Bachelor's Degree with 6 or more years of relevant experience, or 4 or more years of experience with a Master's Degree, or a PhD.
  • Experience with employee directory and personnel information repositories such as Active Directory or LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol).
  • Experience with IAM (Identify Access Management) processes such as account provisioning, role provisioning, and IAM application administration.
  • Programming experience, such as scripting, PowerShell, or experience coding with a common programming language.
  • Able to qualify for and maintain Secret security clearance in compliance with company contract stipulations and policy.


Preferred:
  • Experience with specific IAM technologies: Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), Single Sign-On, Federated Identity. 
  • Experience with specific IAM tools: Ping Identity, Core Security, RSA, Microsoft Office 365 and Azure,
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL.
  • Programming/scripting experience with SQL, Perl, Java, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with modern software development processes, lifecycles, and supporting tools (e.g., collaboration environments, configuration management tools, continuous integration tools, automated testing).
  • General understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) processes.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Exchange, SharePoint, Skype).
  • Existing SCI Clearance or the ability to qualfy and maintain one.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • General understanding of Information Security concepts.
  • Data gathering, analysis, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology quickly.
  • Solid knowledge of common IAM technical principles, theories, concepts, and tools.
  • Seeks opportunities for process improvement, recommends improvements and contributes to solutions.  Demonstrations of personal initiative are highly regarded.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENTS
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer to complete activities.
  • Ability to communicate with individuals and groups in person, by phone and telepresence.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will typically work in an office environment.
