Associate 's Degree in Nursing.

Experience Required:

Typically requires 3 years of experience in nursing.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Proficient computer skills including keyboarding, navigation within a windows operating system, use of electronic mail and electronic medical records systems.

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Ability to develop rapport and maintain positive relationships with a variety of patients, family, staff and physicians.

Good organization, prioritization and problem solving skills.

Ability to multi~task with frequent interruptions.

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.

Must be able to travel between Aurora facilities and provide own transportation.

Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.

Purpose:
Responsible for reviewing post job offer physical assessments, developing and directing prophylaxis, quarantine and communicable disease control directing compliance protocols of JCAHO, OSHA, and state and federal regulations directing assessment and abatement of workplace hazards facilitating nursing/and medical care to sick and injured staff coordinating treatment and counseling efforts through EAP.

Accountabilities:
Reviews and coordinates the pre~employment screening process for all new hires to determine fitness for duty. Facilitates and directs medical intervention when needed.
Provides virtual assessment to sick and injured employees. Facilitates and directs medical intervention when needed.
Coordinates Blood, Body, and Pathogen Exposure Management in accordance with AAH based policies and procedures for intervention and management.
Collaborates with the worker 's compensation team to ensure the injury reporting and management process meets the needs of the team member and the organization. .
Collaborates and supports AAH Respiratory and Fit Testing Program to ensure appropriate TMs are identified and cleared for fit testing.
Participates in designated System Employee Health team, work groups, etc. and provides input and recommendations for system~wide employee health strategies and tactics.
Coordinates all communication between medical providers and the department Medical Director regarding fitness for duty, ADA, and infection control issues.
Directs assessment and abatement of workplace hazards. Collaborates with internal and external departments to assess ergonomic and air quality hazards. Plans goals for accident/injury prevention with the Manager, Employee Health. Collaborates with Infection Control Committee and coordinators to establish policies for communicable disease control and prophylaxis and quarantine. Implements the state and federal FMLA policies for Aurora Health Care.
Collaborates with the EH Coordinators and leadership as needed to ensure a successful flu vaccine program.
Supports the ongoing wellness and safety of team members by adapting to the needs of AAH team members during a pandemic or unforeseen event that requires employee health to manage team member illness/injury.
Counsels and educates employees in health maintenance and risk factors of lifestyle and particular job functions.
