The challenge

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Digital Experience (DX) Finance team as we continue to propel the business through data-driven forecasts and provide influential insights. This Senior Financial Analyst role will report to the Senior Finance Manager, DX Finance. You will own DX top-line subscription revenue forecasting with weekly and quarterly deliverables for the DX organization. You will play a pivotal role in providing insights into the business and offer recommendations that can have influence on Adobe's external Wall Street earnings release. This is a powerful position with the ability to influence senior and executive management decisions, inspire change and challenge status quo as Adobe continues to scale for growth.

What you'll do

  • Prepare revenue guidance for weekly, quarterly and annual forecasts and provide analysis substantiated by key drivers while owning complex financial models across several subscription offerings with distinct considerations.

  • Provide ongoing business performance assessment and drive necessary business redirection, when appropriate.

  • Build financial models, run scenario analysis and provide data analytics to identify areas of risk and opportunity.

  • Analyze data to tell a story and present it to influence decision making.

  • Provide strategic support for budget and forecast cycles.

  • Drive continual operational improvement, lead governance, standardization, and automation to scale the business.

  • Partner effectively with other teams including Corporate Accounting, Revenue Assurance, Corp FP&A, Credit, Order Management and Sales.

  • Address new requests: understand the core question being asked, gather needed data, build models, validate assumptions, perform analyses, summarize and present results in a compelling manner.

  • Ad hoc financial analysis as needed.


What you need to succeed

  • Positive demeanor, collaborative and team oriented. Comfortable in a fluid environment that changes as the business evolves

  • Self-starter with an inquisitive mind willing to provide recommendations by retrieving and coordinating big data and performing analytical rigor

  • Proven ability to drive large-scale planning processes that involve multiple business partners

  • High attention to detail

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to lead, set objectives, and seek to results

  • Advanced Excel skills are essential. Experience with SFDC, SAP and TM1 are preferred. Tableau, PowerBI and SQL a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field or equivalent practical experience

  • CPA/CMA/MBA preferred, but not required in lieu of additional direct experience

  • Minimum 5 years of FP&A (or related) experience required, 6-10 years preferred
