Our client, a financial services company, is looking to add a Senior Payroll & HR Specialist to their team on a temp to hire basis. They are targeting a salary range of $75-$82k. This role is responsible for processing payroll both bi-weekly and monthly.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Full cycle processing of payroll on a bi-weekly and monthly basis including journal entries
- Review timesheets and reconcile any discrepancies
- On-boarding / off-boarding process for employees
- Reconciliation and tracking of employee leave balances
- Respond to payroll requests such of Verification of Employment
Experience required:
- 4-year degree in accounting, finance, or related preferred
- 3+ years of full cycle payroll processing including journal entries
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Comfortable working within a small, team environment
- Excellent time management skills and customer services skills
- Strong communication skills
