Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Our Bay Area-based client is looking for a hands-on, experienced Sr. Financial Analyst. As a key member of the Finance team, the analyst will be supporting monthly and quarterly external and internal reporting, maintaining and improving forecasting models, preparing financial statements, and performing analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Build annual budgets, develop rolling forecasts, and participate in the month-end close process
- Maintain and improve complex financial models
- Prepare and review monthly reporting packages including detailed financial analysis
- Participate in the monthly P&L review process by recapping actual results versus plan and forecast, preparing monthly variance reports for business owners
- Support monthly accounting close processes to ensure accuracy
- Provide support to leaders across various departments to develop rolling forecasts and annual budgets (headcount, operating expenses, and capital planning)
- Partner with senior management to provide decision support through ad hoc analysis
- Develop and assist with ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 5 to 6 years of relevant Finance experience
- Exceptional analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills; ability to manage large data sets and summarize complex analysis
- High level of ownership of assigned tasks and initiative to achieve outstanding results
- Strong analytical skills, extensive modeling experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a record of collaborating with management levels
