About This Job
A Bellevue-Kirkland based engineering consulting firm seeks a Sr. Accounting Analyst to join their team for a 6-month project. They are striving to positively impact living standards on a global scale. Primary responsibilities include maintaining financial and accounting records, work with a team to develop budgets, and report variances based off of budgets. This individual will work closely with operations and support all areas of accounting. Free parking on-site.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with operational functions and manage financial and accounting records
- Establish process improvement opportunities
- Support annual and monthly budget and forecast
- Collaborate with finance team to enhance analytical reports and budget
- Track financial and performance indicators with project management and technical staff
- Review project budgets, performance, and costs
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required
- 7+ years' experience in accounting
- Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookups, etc.) and PowerPoint proficiency
- NetSuite experience a plus
- Ability to work independently and alongside a team
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Possessing the utmost confidentiality and trust
