Our client, located in the Herndon, VA area, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing accounting team. The Ideal candidate will have a BS in Accounting and 4+ years of experience in general ledger accounting.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Bank/credit card/account reconciliation
- Process journal entries
- Responsible for intercompany reconciliations
- Process month-end close
- Assist with year-end close functions
- Process sales and use tax
- Oversee the AP functions
Qualifications:
- Advanced Excel skills
- 4+ years' accounting experience
- BS in Accounting or Finance required
- Previous experience in SAP is a plus
