Title: Cyber Security Senior Manager (Hands-on)
Location: Oakbrook, IL
Salary: $125-145K + Bonuses
The primary purpose of this position is protection of information systems, the detection of threats to those systems, and the response to detected threats and cyber attacks
Develop and define requirements, polices, and procedures focused on cyber security risk mitigation. Lead cyber risk assessment and develop responses to and remediation from vulnerabilities and attacks utilizing major Cybersecurity tool sets. The position will also prepare measures to protect the organization's computer and database infrastructure.
Ensure that the company complies with its external cyber regulatory and ad visory requirements, and internal security policies and procedures.

The Cyber Security Manager will manage day-to-day delivery of the cyber security groups' strategy. Responsible for the successful delivery of cyber security services, the role will be both hands-on and managerial; overseeing a team to assure the quality and efficiency of all cyber security projects.
Manage, monitor and harden IT cyber security & compliance processes; Including review cyber security readiness, incident response plans, proactive intrusion detection capability, external and internal vulnerability assessment, and asset management.
Coordinate cyber security assessment activities with internal/external auditors.
Lead Cyber team and hybrid SOC, working with Cyber specific tools and Managed Service Provider to include threat hunting and forensics research
Improve cyber security awareness and instill a cyber-awareness culture across the enterprise.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Associates
Specialized Knowledge for Performance of Job:
- IT Security Certifications is a must
- Must be well versed in firewalls, routing, and TCP/IP ports and protocols
- Fundamentals in information technology, security, change management, and IT operations management
- Understanding of risk management, data protection and privacy
MUST have excellent data analysis skills using standard office tools are required.
