Our client located in downtown Chicago has an immediate opening for an experienced Payroll Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for someone that has 3-6 years working as a Payroll Analyst. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with multiple systems regarding US and Canadian payroll implementations and upgrades. Responsibilities include:

Responsible for initial lead for Ceridian payroll upgrade for US and Canadian employees
Verify all payroll entries including deductions, earnings and changes, review and reconcile payroll data and resolve any discrepancies as necessary
Assist with implementation, verification and testing
Organize and verify any additional data for final payroll runs prior to processing of W-2s, and process W-2 corrections as appropriate
Work directly with Payroll, IT and Finance regarding the initial system implementation and/or upgrade
Create and run reports as requested by internal and external contacts (Pension, 401k, Workers Comp, audits, etc)
Full knowledge of all Federal, State, Local Canadian tax accounts is required and miscellaneous special projects or additional tasks as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred
3 - 5 years of payroll experience
3 - 5 years of recent experience with payroll system implementations and upgrades
CPP is a plus
US & Canadian payroll processing
Proficient in multiple payroll systems, Ceridian is highly preferred
Strong attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality
