HireStrategy/Addison Group is looking for an IT Business Analyst for their client in Washington DC!

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with product teams to define key metrics, identify trends and opportunities across various pages of our product (acquisitions, dentist directory, and member tools), and provide solutions for their analytic and KPI requests
  • Responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that are simple and actionable, leading to improved conversion and engagement
  • Expand real-time analytics practice for new product / content launches
  • Develop and implement tagging / web analytics code to enable tracking of online properties; ensure relevant key performance and usage metrics are captured in order to provide actionable insights; document all data standards and processes as appropriate and audit when necessary
  • Maintain page tagging standards and build business processes to streamline tag deployment across web properties
  • Work with product teams to develop A/B and multivariate testing strategies to understand the online customer experience; develop and implement processes and procedures to regularly test, measure and improve content and user experience
  • Create, manage and distribute data and insights via regular and ad-hoc reporting utilizing analytics tools (Google Analytics and maybe some tools like MixPanel, Heap Analytics, etc.) and reporting/analysis platforms (Microstrategy, Tableau, SQL, Excel, ...)


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in a technical or quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering), Master's preferred
  • 5+ years business analysis experience with some QA functional testing
  • Strong quantitative skills, and experience utilizing scientific analytic methods, qualitative methods, and quantitative analysis techniques
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to present digestible and actionable insights to executives and other key stakeholders
  • In depth knowledge of SQL (queries) and Excel; programming experience and knowledge of Tableau a plus
