HR Leave Specialist

What do you know about FMLA and LOA rules and processes? If this areas in HR is your specialty, we have a new career for you! A Chicagoland retail store is seeking an HR candidate with direct experience processing Leave of Absence/FMLA for employees. Requires at least three years experience, contract to hire assignment, interviews ASAP. Full health benefits at 60 days, pay up to $65K. Remote work for now but must live near Lombard for return to office!

Job Duties :

  • Manage, process and maintain all the FMLA and LOA requests/documents for employees
  • Process requests and timelines with the benefits provider
  • Work with employees for corrective actions, investigations, and other ER items
  • COVID related reporting and documentation
  • Handle confidential information and back up payroll as needed
Job Requirements:
  • At least 3 years FMLA/LOA management experience
  • Exposure to ADP system, high attention to detail
  • HRIS experience
  • Employee relations and COVID reporting
  • Able to return to office when it reopens
