Community Manager

A client in property management is in need of a Community Manager to join their growing team.

Hours: 8-5pm

Job Description:
As a Community Manager, you are the main point of contact for the board. A list of your duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate, attend and facilitate association board and annual board meetings, draft meeting minutes
  • Research competitive pricing and qualified vendors for HOA repairs and maintenance and present bids to HOA Board
  • Dispatch work orders
  • Review and retain knowledge including but not limited to CC&R's, Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, policies as well as Texas and federal statutes relating to Associations.
  • Communicate with board members and homeowners via meetings, calls, and emails
  • Liaison between board and homeowners
  • Communicate with board and homeowners via meetings, calls, and emails
  • Ensure maintenance of common area.
  • Author communication to homeowners (Providing budget information, community events, election information, newsletters, etc.)

Work with administrative and accounting team on the following:
  • Contract vendors to complete maintenance projects
  • Financial statements
  • Insurance
  • Fiscal management
  • Bill Payment
  • Accounts Receivables
  • Sending accounts to attorney
  • Annual Meeting and Election Process

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 Years as a Community Manager
  • Knowledge of MS Software
  • Knowledge of TOPS software a big plus
  • Basic knowledge of current legislation
  • Strong public speaker
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent grammar (oral and written)

  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to conduct inspections
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
