Job Responsibilities:
- Medical Biller is responsible for performing full-cycle medical billing for a large multispecialty provider group
- Submit claims to commercial/managed care and Medicare/Medicaid payors
- Prepare patient statements for outstanding balances
- Contact patients and payors to collect outstanding balances
- Establish payment plans, accept payment, and work aging reports
- Post insurance and patient payments in practice management system
- Performs month-end accounts receivable procedures timely and accurately

Qualifications:
- 1+ year experience with medical billing in a pro-fee, facility or long-term care setting
- Experience submitting claims to private or government payors
- Experience preparing and sending patient statements
- Experience contacting patients and payors to collect outstanding balances
- Experience establishing payment plans, working aging reports and post insurance and patient payments in practice management system
