Direct and coordinate the activities of the administrative services department of the real estate development and construction division. Assist the leadership group in formulating and administering policies and procedures, and developing long range goals & objectives. Conduct day to day business in an effort to create a culture of collaboration.

Examples of Work Performed:
• Formulate and administer company policies and develop long-range goals and objectives; confer with the leadership group and other staff to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions
• Enforces and regulates fixed asset, real estate development, construction, and millwork accounting policies and practices in accordance with GAAP and LTF Accounting
• Establishes internal controls for real estate & development, fixed assets as well as the contract administration and the expenditures processes for real estate development, construction, and corporate capital expenditures. Manages compliance with all other financial controls as applicable - i.e. payroll, A/P
• Financial staff management -- directs and coordinates activities of development accountants and fixed asset accountants to attainment of goals & objectives - i.e. monthly close, physical inventories
• Oversees contract administration system & staff, including tracking and managing construction subcontracts, construction, architectural, and civil professional service agreements and addenda
• Reviews analysis of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward stated goals and objectives

Minimum Qualifications
• Education:
Four-year degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
MBA preferred
• Experience:
Ten years experience as a Finance & Accounting professional in the construction / real estate development industry
• Licenses / Certifications / Registration:
CPA preferred
