Our client, a growing government contractor located in the Falls Church, VA area, is seeking a billing specialist for a contract to hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' accounts receivable experience with at least 2 years' of that working in government contracting, including working experience in Deltek Costpoint (including T&E).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for project set-up and invoicing for assigned projects (ensuring that all invoices are compliant with FAR, DFAR, CAS and DCAA regulations)
- Monitor all costs
- Enter daily cash receipts
- Work closely with project managers on funding
- Reconcile monthly billings and unbilled expenses
- Review all aging and follow up on collection status
- Process contract mods
- Responsible for all contract and subcontract closeouts
Qualifications:
- 3+ years AR experience (with at least 2 years in government contracting)
- Previous experience in Costpoint and T&E
- Intermediate Excel
- Experience working within government portals
