Assistant Facilities Manager

Position Responsibilities;

  • Facilities Manager will direct long term and day to day operational management of the entire office property
  • Facilities Manager will assist with operational management includes; facilities, space planning, office services, and food services
  • Facilities Manager will oversee office staff (Receptionist, Office Assistant, Building Engineer, Security Guards, and Day Porters)
  • Facilities Manager will ensure service levels are met and are in compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Facilities Manager will establish vendor relationships and act as a point of contact for all food service, cleaning, inventory, etc
  • Facilities Manager will develop safety programs and train employees on emergency procedure
  • Facilities Manager will manage the floor plans and seat assignments
  • Facilities Manager will ensure computer, equipment, phone and inventory is maintained and accurate
  • Facilities Manager will develop process and procedure for mail delivery/reception
  • Facilities Manager will be competent and provide strong interface with departments and contractor services
  • Facilities Manager will provide knowledge and experience with employee service needs
  • Facilities Manager will overseeing time card approvals
  • Facilities Manager will handle all invoices during the month (10-20 / week)
  • Facilities Manager will manage and oversee multiple projects at a single time

Position Requirements;
  • Bachelor Degree and/or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience in facilities/operation management
  • Vendor negotiation experience
  • strong management, leadership, and mentoring skills
  • Safety knowledge
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to manage a budget efficiently
