Software Engineer I

A day in the Life…
o Work with agile team to design and develop platform capabilities in an iterative fashion.
o Work with a tight-knit group of development team members in Plymouth Meeting and Seattle.
o Work tightly with our DevOps teams to deploy and support our software using cloud services and tools such as Amazon Web Services, GitHub, Shippable, Docker and more.
o Develop applications and services using a combination of Cloud platforms and your own code.
What kind of projects would you work on outside of day to day?
o AWS Connect replacement of current on-premise PBX.
o Creating web services that expose real time and historical data from our contact center platform.
o Working with our product development and mobile teams to offer our Omni channel communications as a service to these groups.
o Identify and execute upon ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering teams.
o B.S or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar degree.
o 3+ years development in enterprise applications as a frontend or backend developer.
o 3+ years working with the application development life-cycle. Experience planning, creating, testing, mocking and deploying software to real production environments and then supporting their continued use.
o 3+ years designing/working with public REST APIs as backend or front end developer.
o Experience with Scrum/Kanban or other Agile methodologies and concepts.
o Experience developing cloud-based applications is a plus.
o Experience with WebRTC is a plus.
o Demonstrated ability to be individually productive and with high-quality results.
o Good organizational, communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills are mandatory.
