Role Overview

As an Accolade Clinical Health Assistant, you will be part of a team of doctors, pharmacists, nurses and health insurance specialists that take the time to answer our client’s health related questions. You will have the freedom to see our clients through the process, treating them as people, not as cases. You will get to build close relationships with every one of your clients, becoming their trusted go-to health resource, no matter the question.

A Day in the Life...

As a valued member of our team, you will interact and assist employees and their families with the services that allow us to help individuals make better health care decisions.  You will be assisting individuals understand diagnostic tests, test alternatives, costs, risks, and settings.  Helping individuals understand their diagnosis and treatments options and helping choose appropriate care and settings for all their healthcare needs. 

By delivering Accolade’s unique model of health decision support and education to individuals with a variety of diseases in all stages of care you, have the unique ability to help people make more informed health care decisions, get the right care when they need it and understand how to get the most from their health care benefits. 

Who we are


  • Requires current unrestricted RN license
  • 5+ years nursing experience in ONE or more of the following areas:  Medical/Surgical, Home Health, Case Management, Nurse Triage, Disease Management, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Hospice, ICU, Behavioral Health or Diabetes
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Word and Internet Explorer, as well as proficient typing skills required

Helpful Qualifications:

  • Experience working with individuals diagnosed with chronic conditions or pregnancy.  Motivational interviewing skills/experience highly desired.
  • Certification (CDE or CCM)
  • Analytical and research skills


Other Desirable Qulifications:


Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
