A Cloud expert assessing AFS Cloud Managed Service Platform Automation and Innovation projects and developing them to completion. You will work closely with other members of the security team, service partners, and clients to solve problems, provide input to the system design process, and bring new products to fruition.
- Working with major technologies, frameworks, environments, and methodologies including the following:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, and other Linux Distributions
- Microsoft Server and Active Directory
- Python, Bash, PowerShell, Node.js and other scripting tools as automation technologies
- Splunk, Elasticsearch, and other common log aggregation solutions/security tools
- Configuration management using Chef, Terraform, Puppet, Salt, Ansible, and similar orchestration solutions
- Amazon AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Microsoft Azure, and other cloud providers
- Virtualization, container, and migration solutions such as Hyper-V, VMWare, and Docker
At times you will work in a "DevOps" role to provide high-level support to products we create. In addition, you will self-manage and find yourself in situations where you play roles beyond that of a traditional developer, performing work in DevOps, Data Science, Architectural positions, and software trainer.
