Federal - Cloud Strategy Manager

Our program is seeking to roll on a technical manager with strategic roadmap experience as it relates to dynamic provisioning of wrapped services. This task involves participating in stakeholder meetings, creating the tech dependency and component-based system architecture templates, participating in the portfolio management process, clearly assessing the technical dimensions of analysis for each candidate project, and ensuring that your project deadlines are met in a timely manner.

To be successful, you will need to have exceptional communication and presentation skills, have technical familiarity with how cloud management platforms (CMPs) and cloud service brokerages (CSBs) function, be an individual contributor accountable for the technical aspects of IT strategic planning, have cloud architect knowledge of AWS or Azure or GCE.

  • Synthesis
    • Target state component-based architecture - composite
    • Critical path for project portfolio
  • General
    • Continuous improvement of our component based architectural approach
    • Continuous improvement of our technical dependency mapping process
    • Continuous improvement of our strategic road map process

+ Basic qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in technology or innovation or related field of study
  • 8 years experience working with client deliverables on tight deadlines
  • 4+ years in role responsible for IT Strategy
  • Familiarity with strategic planning with clients as it's used to create step-wise critical paths
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with one or more enterprise architecture frameworks (such as ADA / ADM, DoDAF, TOGAF)
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • In-depth knowledge of Cloud Management Platforms and Cloud Service Brokerages including cloud architect experience with AWS, or Azure, or GCE
  • Organizational budgetary exp (3 years preferred)
  • CPIC
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
