Our Supply Chain and Operations professionals are individuals who help clients develop strategies and operating models that integrate planning, procurement, product design, manufacturing, and fulfillment functions within an organization, as well as connect suppliers and customers across the extended supply chains. Supply Chain planning professionals develop and implement integrated supply and demand planning strategies that improve cost efficiency, increase business effectiveness and create synergies and collaboration across companies.

And you have the data skills and experience to find ways to make the whole process more efficient all the way through the supply chain. You have also got the communication skills to make sure that everyone understands your ideas and how to get them working as quickly as possible, Your experience also means that people look to you for guidance and ideas. The work:
We work with our clients across a broad range of industries to address key issues related to:
- Find solutions to clients' integrated supply chain planning problems
- A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities: - Identifies, assesses, and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
- Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals
- Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
- Decisions have a major day-to-day impact on area of responsibility
- Work alone or manage diverse, small-to-medium sized teams as needed, either at the client or at Accenture
- Make sure that projects help clients meet their important goals
- Be ready to challenge old ways of doing things
- Use the latest analytical tools to help clients identify and understand:- Who their customers are
- What those customers want
- Which assets they have and how to use them
- Find the right planning strategies to help clients' business and value chain needs, like postponement, make to order, make to stock, and make to assembly
- Use digital tech to help clients find new ways to make things more cheaply, and make their organizations more effective and efficient
- Lead workshops that look for ways to improve manufacturing organizations and processes
- For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 5 years' of experience working with forecasting, supply chain planning and inventory optimization
- At least 3 years working as a consultant
- A Bachelor's Degree
- Bonus points if:
- You can use the latest data analytics tools to spot where clients can improve their forecasting and inventory management
- You can spot where to find new value in inventory management, and explain it simply
- You have worked on strategic cost takeout projects
- You know all about Master data, and statistical forecast and demand planning technologies

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
