Security professionals apply deep security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets and people for Accenture and our clients.

The Security Consultant applies deep security skills to provide the following Security Services: design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets and people for Accenture and our clients. In addition, the role might require providing services to help clients protect their information, infrastructures, applications and business processes against cyber threats.

Job Description

Infrastructure Security Ops support management, maintenance, upgrade and operations related to infrastructure security devices such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, End point Security systems, etc. Includes technical skills to maintain and operate SIEM platform, DLP systems, operational management of security devices, security event monitoring and incident response processes.

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems.
Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.
Decisions often impact the team in which they reside.
Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

Provide expert technical and functional support related to Security devices FireEye modules, LanCope Stealth Watch, Varonis, Pulse Secure, Nexpose, Symantec CCS, IBM Guardium, Algosec, Symantec PKI, Dtex, Carbon Black Response, DocuSign. Fine tuning of rules, policies, signatures to reduce number of false positive triggers. Administration and management of in scope security devices. Recommendation of rules, policies, signatures addition based on analysis and investigations. Troubleshoot application software issues Perform device tuning, enhancements, and content updates. Maintain log data feeds from all devices. Development of Standard operating procedures and runbooks. Conduct root cause analysis for high priority incidents. Support problem management investigations. Troubleshooting of failures and incidents.

+ Basic qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Network Security, Vulnerability Scanning and Data Security Tools.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience providing expert technical and functional support related to Security devices FireEye modules, LanCope Stealth Watch, Varonis, Pulse Secure, Nexpose, Symantec CCS, IBM Guardium, Algosec, Symantec PKI, Dtex, Carbon Black Response, DocuSign.
