Finance and Enterprise Performance Consulting Practice

Our key focus is on core finance operations and understanding underlying processes in a variety of Finance and Accounting areas and how to improve those processes. Practitioners will serve as a team member who can propose improvements and aid clients in realizing added value from our capabilities in Digital Finance, Finance Transformation, Shared Services and Mergers & Acquisitions.

Your Role

The Robotics Process Automation (RPA) Consultant role is aligned to our Resources Operating Group. Personnel aligned to Resources have experience in Oil & Gas, Utilities, Chemicals, and/or Natural Resources. The Consultant will be responsible for identification, design, and support of the implementation of Robotic Process Automation solutions and will be asked to work on projects focused on improving our client's Finance Function and Enterprise Performance. The work will be primarily focused on analyzing and solving complex business problems, defining and developing processes, enabling technology and executing projects to help achieve our client's enterprise goals. The Consultant will be regarded as the subject matter expert in the area of process automation to assist our clients to achieve greater efficiency in their daily operations and optimize processes to reduce overheads and cost.

The following are qualifications expected of the selected candidate:

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of Finance and Accounting experience within Oil and Gas
  • A minimum of 3 years of consulting and/or leading process improvement projects
  • A minimum of 1 year of RPA and/or automation experience is preferred
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or other closely related field of study
  • Ability to meet travel requirements, up to 100%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Consulting experience, preferably with a Big 4
  • Deep understanding of the Oil and Gas industry business processes

Experience with RPA implementations

  • Prior sales experience developing responses to client proposals and participating in sales presentations to clients
  • Prior experience establishing and maintaining client relationships
  • Experience leading projects and large scale transformation programs
  • Direct experience delivering business improvements utilizing enabling technologies
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically to solve complex problems
  • Ability to interact effectively with client executives, vendors and third party providers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work in an information systems and technology driven environment
  • Desire to work with innovative and leading edge technologies, such as Robotic Process Automation and Machine Learning
