You Are:

A Health, Pharmacy and Retail Consulting maestro with tons of experience at the intersection of the retail and health industries, and leadership and management skills to spare. Your expertise Advising clients on data-driven retail strategies to achieve their strategic, financial, and operational goals. As a senior manager, you're a natural at building and bringing out the best in teams. And you're a problem's worst nightmare, thanks to your prodigious analytical and creative chops. Communication and people skills You have both in spades, along with a strong desire to work in an information systems environment.

The Work:
  • Go deep to get the lay of the land of the retail industry that clients operate in, and to grasp clients' business options in the context of global, economic, technology, and social trends.
  • Help clients achieve long-term success by drawing up practical road maps that help clients carry out strategy, manage change, monitor and gauge processes, and rectify issues if needed.
  • Originate, qualify and close new opportunities for Accenture with our clients, including designing new capabilities and processes at the intersection of health, pharmacy, and retail, inclusive of new customer experiences, growth in clinical services, healthy platform design, and vaccine distribution and management approaches to help clients achieve greater efficiencies and adapt their business models to industry changes
  • Assist clients with industry shifts taking place within the competitive marketplace - inclusive of new market entrants, evolving omnichannel experiences, capabilities and fulfillment nodes
  • Work with Accenture leadership teams to develop and deliver new business through trust and value-led relationships with the key client stakeholders responsible for retail and health transformation initiatives and play the role of a trusted advisor
  • Develop omnichannel strategies for Accenture clients with new retail and health service offerings, including leading the team performing rigorous analysis to identify potential value creating opportunities, creating the business case and developing the requirements to implement the strategy
  • Be a thought-leader in Retail, Health and Pharmacy Industry challenges, trends, solutions, economics and related qualitative & quantitative aspects
  • Lead client assessment portion of strategy engagements, develop cohesive conclusions and present key findings at the executive level
  • Manage junior members of the Consulting team and groom them for more responsibility.
  • Lead teams in driving insights and recommendations using data models and visualization tools.
  • Build relationships with clients to sustain Accenture's profile as a long-term trusted advisor and partner.
  • Keep deepening your prowess in retail strategy, omnichannel, and industry convergence across healthcare and pharmacy in order to reinforce Accenture's reputation as a thought leader.
Travel:
  • For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Qualifications
  • Minimum combined 8 years' professional experience at a large consulting firm and/or working in relevant retail (sales, marketing, channel or commercial strategy organizations) and/or healthcare industries, to include:- Client facing experience with demonstrated experience as a pro-active leader
  • Making strategic recommendations for process, organization, technology solutions to improve the customer and/or patient experience, value and productivity
  • Working on multiple deals at the same time with multiple clients per week
  • Expertise knowledge of pharmacy, clinical strategy and service delivery, healthcare payer and provider industry, specialty drug management strategies and/or telemedicine
  • Minimum 4 years of consulting experience in the consulting industry, or equivalent in an internal consulting role
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the Retail Pharmacy or Retail Health industry in areas such as corporate development or transformation
  • Minimum 2 years of prior experience in driving insights using statistics or data analysis
  • - Bachelor's degree
Bonus Points if:
  • Industry experience delivering transformation change programs to increase revenue and drive productivity
  • Problem-solving skills using visualization and analytics tools
  • Experience designing, developing and implementing retail omnichannel (stores and digital), consumer goods, health and/or pharmacy processes and ways of working that bring agility to teams, as well as rolling out new organizational capabilities
  • Strong client communications skills
  • A proven track record of delivery on complex, impactful client engagements or internal projects
  • A cross-industry and/or cross-functional background.
As required by theColorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only , the range of starting pay for this role is $200,000 - $205,999 and information on benefits offered is here.
