A new area within Accenture Digital is Industry X.0, an advanced, digitally enabled, innovati ve , planning and investment approach for manufacturing and asset-intensive industries

In your role within our Industry X.0 team, you'll help clients take advantage of significant market opportunities as digital technology moves into the core of industry in product development and manufacturing environments. You'll help them transform their product, manufacturing and product related services value chains in Products, Communications, Media, High Tech, Chemicals, Mining, Oil & Gas and Utilities. Role Description:

  • Technical Sales of Industrial Solutions in the areas of Product Engineering and Manufacturing & Digital Operations
  • Provide Technical- and Domain-Expertise for successful sales of complex technical projects in the area of Product Engineering and Manufacturing & Digital Operations
  • Successfully supporting the sales process from origination to successful closing (including offering fine tuning, solution shaping, proposal preparation, client presentations)
  • Supporting target market - and offering-specific sales strategy
  • Management and follow up on internal and external sales campaigns
  • Further build up local Technical Sales organization
  • Continuing development and refinement of offerings and collateral to support/promote the sales of offerings (overviews, case studies, account planning, marketing information)


+ Basic qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Technical Sales / Consulting in Engineering/Manufacturing Technology
  • Engineering/Manufacturing IT systems including ERP, PLM, MES and QMS and roadmap development experience
  • 8 - 15 years in Product Design/Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Manufacturing IT systems or similar
  • Systems Implementation Methodology ex: Agile Methodology, Waterfall, etc.
  • Business Case / ROI development
  • Working knowledge of utilizing technology to meet corporate objectives
  • Proposal development experience
  • Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing or related Engineering degree)

  • Experience in 2-3 of the following industries:
    • Automotive/Tier 1 Suppliers
    • Industrial Equipment
    • Travel, Transportation and Logistics
    • Food & Beverage
    • Resources / Energy / Oil & Gas
    • Retail & Apparel
    • Medical Device/Pharmaceutical
    • High Tech/Media/Electronics/Internet/Semiconductor
    • Aerospace & Defense
  • Scoping and Proposal Construction
  • Manufacturing IT Systems integration, ERP - MES/MOM, PLM Systems, Digital Enterprise Concept, IoT, QMS ...
  • Project management, "Waterfall" model and Agile / Scrum
  • Large Scale, Global System Implementation
  • Software Research & Development
