Operations Delivery Admin - Database Oracle / MS SQL Server

The Operations Delivery Admin - Database resource will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and enhancements of all enterprise databases. The resource will be part of a managed services team in the client's Technology Operations Center performing Level 2 triage and troubleshooting activities, in addition to executing on approved requests and changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and troubleshoot enterprise SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Implement backup and recovery procedures
  • Monitor database performance and provide recommendations
  • Manage database and log file growth
  • Review database logs and trace files for errors
  • Conduct performance analysis and tuning of databases
  • Write stored procedures and perform ad-hoc queries
  • Assist developers with designing and deploying databases
  • On call to support operations in case of issues
  • Create and maintain system documentation
  • Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations



+ Basic qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with: Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server




Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors' Degree
  • Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, DB2, MongoDB, DashDB, PostgreSQL, Couchbase, and/or Cassandra
  • Experience in IT operations and service management
