Finance professionals prepare and interpret financial plans and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable financial rules and regulations, including internal financial controls, to mitigate risk for the company. Finance professionals may also shape and execute client deals to maximize the use of Accenture's capital and resources, manage cash and/or liaise with the investor community.
Job Description
- Technology. Recommend improvements based on expanded utilization within the Internal Controls function for further integration of technology, and exposure to newer auditing/testing techniques and the application of technology in the conclusion of risk assessments.
- Be prepared to gain a detailed understanding of Accenture's processes, risks, and internal controls.
- Have a detailed understanding of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting Industry standards.
- Recommend and implement improvements to the processes and global standard design of internal controls
- Independently perform tasks assigned by team lead
- Organize tasks to meet deadlines and rearrange based on changes to team & business priorities
- Work with team leads & program lead to understand key milestones. Organize & assign tasks for team members.
- Monitor status of assigned tasks and work with team to prioritize to meet deadlines. Communicate status of projects and milestones to program lead
- Liaise with Internal & External Audit and other process organizations as necessary.
- Regularly communicate status or projects and key milestones as well as delays in projects and milestone to team leadership & propose solutions to delays.
- Serve as key contact for business partners in key process areas.
- Expert written and verbal communication skills to small and large audiences. Developing presentation skills to Senior Leadershi
- Coordinate with HR and lead recruitment, interview, and hiring process for new joiners
- Deliver training to wide variety of Accenture employees within key process areas
- Provide on-the-job training to team members
- Provide clear expectations and periodic performance evaluations to team members
- Lead the process walkthrough of end to end processes and related internal controls
- Organize and assign the documentation of narratives, flowcharts, and TOD.
- Monitor and follow up on status
- Serve as point person in questions/requests from KPMG following walkthrough
- Coordinate pre-calls with control owners to discuss expectations and answer questions
- Assign control testing to team and monitor status of completion. Document the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
- Document the Deficiency Analysis for any ineffective controls
- Summarize results of OE testing and communicate to Sr Leadership. Communicate issues in completing Action Plans or Deficiency Analysis items.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (±16 years)
- Minimum of 5 years experience of Big 4 or similar auditing experience utilizing technology/analytics in their risk assessment as the basis of their audit plus exposure to different types of testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Accounting or Finance
- CPA
- Auditing Experience
Professional Skills:
- Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
