Accenture's Network Delivery Architecture - Video Team is a dedicated group of Accenture professionals that focus on the videoconferencing infrastructure and endpoints. The team provides high-quality, consistent and seamless support of the end-to-end videoconferencing service including: configuration, implementation, security, troubleshooting and engineering of infrastructure.
A Video Delivery Operations Engineer is responsible for ensuring software and hardware roadmaps associated with the global video delivery infrastructure are up-to-date, tested for compatibility and deployed to the production environment at a pace consistent with what is available from the vendor. Areas of scope include Cisco endpoint devices (EX, MX, SX, C-series, CTS), and Cisco videoconferencing infrastructure such as gatekeepers, call managers and multipoint bridging units. Additionally, other vendors such as AMX and Oblong are in-scope.
- Designing system configurations, defining, documenting and enforcing system standards
- Documenting and maintaining in-scope device types, firmware versions, software versions and inter-device compatibility
- Defining software role out plans and communicating plans with key stakeholders
- Defining and maintaining test procedures for software releases ensuring compatibility remains amongst devices
- Identify, implement, and oversee technical and process improvements across video delivery capability in conjunction with project and architecture teams
- Assist in transition / implementation of new video collaboration capabilities and offerings
- Open vendor tickets with appropriate and detailed problem descriptions and supporting information
