The Test Engineer is responsible for the quality assurance of applications. Daily responsibilities include the ability to analyze applications for compliance with customer requirements, documenting test scripts, test scenarios and system discrepancies, and analyzing applications for overall quality and usability. As a Test Engineer, you are the last set of eyes that ensure each product is built with quality and free of any bugs that could jeopardize client trust in the program. The Test Engineer identifies weaknesses in the application by applying their analytical prowess to exploit any potential pitfalls with usability and design. The Test Engineering position is a perfect way to broaden your technical skills by exploring and analyzing mission-essential applications first hand.

+ Basic qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • 2 years of demonstrated professional experience in an IT, business, or similar environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Desire to work in a fast paced environment Ability to think creatively and "outside the box" (develop scenarios relevant to end-user actions)
  • Ability to think analytically (develop scenarios on potential system pitfalls that affect end-user experience)
  • Familiarity with JIRA, PeopleSoft applications and agile development concepts
  • Familiarity of functional testing processes and automated testing tools


An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
