We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team. You will be joining the project on the ground floor, so your ideas will shape the future of the project. You will work with other developers, other teams in Azure, and top-notch researchers from Microsoft Research and academia to design, implement, and deploy Azure services that scale out and remove the limitations of existing solutions. You will participate in architecture, design, and ensure a timely creation of the components with high quality. The position involves internal and external collaborations. There is high visibility in an area of large and expanding investment for Azure, offering a terrific opportunity for technical and career growth.
+ Basic qualifications
- 2+ years of professional software development experience
- 2+ years of experience in developing with C#/.NET/Python/Java/C++ ORC
- US Citizenship required
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with distributed programming models to create, develop, deliver, deploying and maintain online services
- Experience with multi-threaded/parallel programming
- Excellence in software engineering practices and coding
- Extensive knowledge and experience designing for operability
- Systems programming experience with ability to debug and optimize code, and automate routine tasks
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
